                                                      + replacement maf sensor

After I warped the head on the second day due to a bad heater hose connection and faulty temp sensor and thermostat (read normal while there was no water!) I replaced everything that needed replacing. Its kinda dumb but at the time I didnt know if had been told that it needed things done I would have done them. Then gradually I got my pod filter, and everything else. Its a cheap remedy and at the time I didnt have alot of money and just needed the car to go.

In the end I was driving about with badly worn rings which scuffed the block. Drank alot of oil and would smoke bad at high revs in low gears. I drove it for over a year like this. It would have been better just to get replace the whole thing or just do up the block at the same time.

                                    ***** Handling/Suspension *****

After a bit I decided to get new struts. The old ones were leaking and the car bounced around and cornered like crap. I was lucky and got a strutbrace which are really rare. The brace makes a huge difference in handling with the stock springs. When I got my 17"s I got directional tyres and gained a ton more grip. I got my king springs a little while after I got the brace. Finally they are in after almost 3 years lol.

Had to get the exhaust on as the stock one was rusty and full of leaks. It looks a little rice but it sure dont sound it what it lacks in appearance it makes up for with sound. I eventually want to replace it with a nice twin tip system a bit bigger than the factory one and have 2.5" piping and 2 coby mufflers to replace all the stock ones and a set of custom headers. Expensive. Its atleast $500 for the piping and about the same for the headers. That money can go towards other things for now.
