Well, here is my 1999 Lincoln Continental. My dad bought the car back in October of 2005, and ever since I have been driving it practically everyday. It is the car that I learned to drive in too, so I sorta fell more comfortable driving it than my car or my moms. When I went to get my drivers licence, I took this instead of my escort, and parrellel parked it in two reverses, and got a perfest, not all that hard. Plus the question I get alot is why do I drive this when Im only 18 years old.
As of 2-2-08 its got 161 thousand miles on it and keeps running great. I have never had the transmission slip on me when starting out, or shift hard. For the most part, my Dad drives about 80 too 100 miles a day with this car, and its not all that bad on gas. Beleive it or not, but around town I have been getting about 24.7-25.2 mpg, and on the highway doing 65 mph, I have been getting as high as 34 mpg using 87 octane. I also got a job at a local Ford Mercury Lincoln, and Chevy, GM dealership detailing cars. So every monday, wedensday, and saturday I wash the outside, and clean the interior. And I also took the stickers off the side of the doors too.
Before with the stickers.
With the stickers off, and a full complete detail.
Sorry the picture quality isnt all that great, since we wash about 60 cars a day, and its below freezing we got to keep the doors closed, and anything that is glass fogs up from the moistor. But I will put pictures of it outside so they are better. Leave a comment of what you think. Thanks for looking.
