My Car's Pics & Info are currently on Page 2!

All modifications done to this car (body, interior, performance, suspension, electrical, audio) were done by me, alone, with my own two hands ONLY! This car has never, nor will it ever go to a shop for a mod because the rule I have for my car is if someone else does the work, then I cannot take pride in it and say it's MY car.

I am almost 30 and this is the first (and probably the last since I am almost 30) car that I have modified. So, I am doing everything I can now before I get too old. To me there is no "Rice" or "not rice", I am too old for that crap. If i want it, I do it. I think a "customized" car is one that is an expression of the person driving it. Like a unique piece of art.

Vertical/Lambo doors! The "kit" (hinges) are a direct bolt-on set for a 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse. They line damn near perfectly on the "Classic" model Malibu for an almost bolt-on fit. Pics were taken today (Juuly 8th):

 

Love those White CCFL Angel Eyes, don't ya. Look how bright and visible they are.....and that is in the sunlight! Imagine how they look at night. None of those over-priced, dim, aftermarket, JDM (or whatever they are called) LED "Halo headlights". Do-it-yourself job with 5x the brightness and about 1/10th of the cost. Eat your hearts out ricers/haters!

UPDATE April 18th 2007:

Retrofitted Hella A6 Single Xenon Low-Beam Projectors with my Xenon HID System (which I have had for a while now but was using with the stock headlights without the projectors) and GE 6000K D2S Xenon bulbs with blacked-out headlight housing and, of course, my same old white CCFL 80mm dual Angel Eyes Halos. Yes, again, I did all this myself over the past week.

Exterior:

- full homemade body kit:
I. Front bumper mods:
i) front brake cooling ducts

ii) front fascia air intake ducts below lower grill
iii) louvered side air escape vents

 

II. Side skirts/Rocker panel mods:
i) air intake ducts up front
ii) wind splitting lip moulded in middle
iii) air escape ducts at rear

III. Rear bumper mods:
i) louvered air intake ducts moulded into sides

ii) side fascia gutted to provide air escape paths

- QMI brand chrome fender flares (2 of the 3/4 arch sets which were then modified to produce 1 full arch set)

- Double bar Escalade style fender vents (I shaved out my former louvered style fender vents and then smoothed the fenders out back to a stock look and the added the new vents over top)

- Rear window visor/spoiler (I custom made this out of two of the standard sunroof visors by joining them together and then heating and molding the peice to the right shape for the Malibu)
