This is it, beautiful car... i pulled it apart, needs a new head and turbo, the head due to oil starvation and the turbo due to a leak and SOME shaft play... i believe the journals in the head got clogged as nothing else shows any damage from oil starvation.

So its going to be my 12-1,500 dollar 97 A4 Quattro 1.8t

Why can't I find these deals? You've got a great platform for a project car. The drivetrain is bullet-proof! If you've got the money you should do some engine mods while you're in there, not necessarily internal but at least a K04 turbo :). You should definetely become a member of Audizine.com if you're not already. There are some very knowledgable guys on there who would love to hear about your car and help you out any way they can. Good luck with the car!!!
