I just purchased my car in early December of 2005. The car is sapphire blue with a navy blue top. The interior is tan on white with navy blue Arden stitching on both the front and rear seats as well as the convertable cover. The cars exterior features a full 5 piece Arden body kit, Arden race springs and shocks, 20" 3 piece chrome Jaguar/Arden rims, sapphire blue painted calipers to match the body color, and performance polished dual exaust. The car also had ECU upgrades performed as well as a k-40 four sided radar detector built into the car with the adjustment knob in the center console and the warning lights in the instument pods.
The car is a dealership custom and left the factory with all of the above installed. Since purchasing the vehicle I have only had time to install a K&N intake cone with a custom cut aluminum heat shield I made myself. I haven't been able to test the limits of the car yet but I have driven in other XK-8's and my car seems to be faster and has a much quicker throttle response.
I need help finding places to purchase more performance and aestetic parts for this car because so far everything I am looking at will have to be custom made. I really want to get a polished aluminum intake and add custom brake cooling lines that vent through the body panels of the car like on the true Arden XK-A. I am also going to chrome my front grill and either chrome my door trim or paint it silver.
