UPDATE:

I decided to trade my 626 in for a '96 Jeep Cherokee Country. First of all, I love all Jeep's... SUV-type, Truck, or CJ's/Wrangler's. The 626 never gave me any trouble at all during this time, but I started to run out of room. I really needed an SUV...so, I went on the way to Dothan one day, saw a '96 Cherokee on the road for sale. 2 days later, we traded. My reason being room, his reason being gas mileage...and audio, hehe. But I'll probably have a 626 again before too long. If not, a MX-6...

I got this car on a search for a good, clean passenger vehicle from the money I'm getting for my Jeep Comanche. I drove from south AL to Pensacola, FL, originally hoping to get a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse I saw online on a used car dealer's website. But when I found it was a rust-bucket, I looked around at the other used car dealers in Pensacola, and found this! Got it for $1250 in sad running shape, but found out half-way down the road that the only problem was the gas-cap was missing! Got one at Advance Auto Parts, and it's running very smoothly now! Also, the seat-belt warning buzzer was going off all the time...had to pull it out after the long trip back home. But a very clean car for the money in my opinion; I love it!

Has a 2.2L fuel-injected 4-cylinder, 5-speed; very clean inside, but the paint on the hood/roof/trunk is fading. Has a sunroof that works great; haven't seen if it leaks yet though. Under the carpet in the trunk, I found alot of water, but drilled a couple of holes and drained it out.

Very nice! You picked a good car and I can tell you this from experience. I bought a silver 1990 626 DX brand-new and drove it for 160,000 miles. The only thing I replace was the standard trans at 120,000 and this was only because I never put any fluid in it since I did not realize I was supposed to. I sold it to a friend and he drove it until trading it in still running strong. I was just given a 1996 626 ES that has rear end damage and had been totaled by the insurance company but still drove fine. I plan to fix it and drive it soon. I will post pics of it soon.
