Page 1 - Pictures of my Lude before and after it got drawned and paintedPage 2 - The Begining of My H22A project and taking the car apartPage 3 - The H22A motor itself being cleaned and put together part by partPage 4 - The parts i order for my project from USA and the places i bought them fromPage 5 - The car's assembly Page 6 - Change in plans-came home early and started to put that H22A inside my carPage 7 - The H22A inside and runnigPage 8 - New 2007 season - new page.will be lots of update and progress on the carPage 9 - New 2008 season - new car paint and some finishing touchesPage 10 - New 2009-2010 season - trunk refurbish and new supermoto in the garage some time attack photos Here you can see pics of my car in working condition.Me and my friend struggle with ECU problems for more than 10 days now, but finally today(10-sept-2006) the car ran strong even without the VTEC and only till 5500rpm.The reason not to use the Vtec and higher revs is that the injectors which i have now under the hood are only 240cc and are temporary till i find bigger.Important information for all ppl rebuilding H22 engines: Due to I am being stupid,and my friend having experience in B16 engines we installed the oil orifice between the cylinder head and the cylinder block like it is on B16 and H23 engines.the other reason to do that is cause we read the H22/H23 manual and there it is not written which picture is for H22 and which picture is for H23.and you all know the cylinder blocks are identical shown from outside and without the timing belts.so the problem now with that oil orifice located there is that the engine cannot engage the high lobes of the Vtec.that orifice should be located in the cylinder head under the camshafts.the oil orifice now limits my oil pressure to 2 bars,and located before the oil line for vtec makes vtec not possible.the vtec needs 4 or 5 bars !? at 5000revs.if the orifice was located under the camshafts the oil suply would be enough for vtec and later it would be limited to 2 bars for the camshafts oiling.i was thinking to open the head again just to relocate that thing,but more and more i'm thinking to put a high pressure hose straight to vtec from the outside.i'll probably do that and let you know how it went.by the way the pressure now in the cylinder block is BIG.at idle instead 10 psi mine delivers 50 psi.at 3000revs should be 40 or 50 psi,mine is now 90 psi on 2000revs.so for now i just cruise with the sleeper:)20-sept-2006 Results: The cylinder head was removed and the oil orifice was relocated in the head.the honda OEM head gasket was perfect after 800 km on it,so i used it again.the vtec is now set at 4500 revs,but there nothing is really happening.but at 5200-5500 revs it becomes MAD.Too bad my rev limiter is at 6000revs and cuts the acceleration right after that vtec.i have only 240cc injectors and until i find bigger i cannot rev it higher. Yesterday i measured the car's wight-1160kg with 10 liters of petrol.i had some junks in the trunk but later when i remove them and have more fuel it's gonna be the same.that makes me 200kg or even 250kg lighter than 4 gen prelude with that engine. 3 gen Lude ruls!!!
