So I started my winter with a 1990 indy trail all stock, and thats it. I came across a 97 XC 600 which I decided to buy because of a blown up motor and figured I could fix it. When we took the motor apart, it was fried, so i decided to swap all suspension parts over and give hte INDY SNAIL a work-up.
HERE ARE PICTURES OF A STOCK INDY TRAIL, I DIDNT HAVE ANY PICS OF MINE FROM BEFORE BUT

HERE IS FOR COMPARISON.....BEFORE>>>>>>>>>>
AFTER>>>>>>>>

MODS AS FOLLOWS: XTRA-10 suspension with fox shocks installed into rear, new bearings, sliders and rebuilt rear shock. Brand new seat cover professionally installed, 2" risor, low smoked windshield, xtra 10 front suspension installed, EDGE chassis progressive springs added, as well as plastic skis with 10" carbides. New clutch weights with EPI performance primary spring, hood painted with custom decals made by sign design (Thanks!!) I think thats all...it was a battle, but hell its done, and I only have about 300 bucks into the sled after parting out the xc600...and the lil 488 fan only has about 1000km on it so it should go another 3! Good runner for a few years!
