As a last minute production change, the front end of the DeLorean was raised in order to meet a 5mph safety standard (that was later done away with.) I never cared for the "nose high" look, and decided to lower my car to the designer's original height. I used the Eibach lowering kit, which is available from delorean.com and all of the other vendors. The kit includes KYB shocks and Eibach springs.

A central Ohio DeLorean specialist ended up installing the kit for me. This improved looks and handling substantially, by lowering the front end about 2.5 inches. The rear height is now adjustable, so I lowered that about 1/2 inch at most. Before and after pictures are below, draw your own conclusions.
This also improved the cornering abilities of the car. Colin Chapman of Lotus really knew what he was doing when it came to the double-wishbone frame, but the lowered suspension helped to enhance handling even more.
I also found an original NOS DeLorean Dealer Sidestripe. I like the subtle touch it adds to the unpainted stainless exterior.
