Once the mice remnants were gone, cleaning up the rest of the car was the issue. To start with, I had the ugly dark grey rims found on all 'early' DeLoreans. I had them repowdercoated to the nice silver color of the later cars. The dark color can be seen here:

Not as sexy as the car could look. Once powdercoated, they appeared like this:

Often a smartass comment I get is "Where's the Flux Capacitor?" along with countless other "Back To The Future" references. Trust me, I've heard them all and they get old very fast. My friend Doug Beck made the Flux Capacitor that you see below. I seldom have it in the car, but for the occasional car show I will set it on the back shelf like so:
