Many people reckon that you can't get a 1970 Galaxie to look any good, and that the early to mid 60s Galaxies are the only way to go. Well I am hoping to prove them wrong.
I think it can be done.
This is my 1970 Galaxie 500 Sportsroof.
It originally came from Washington, brought to Australia around 1977, and I purchased it in 1988. It looked like a wedding car when I got it, but it didn't take long before I gave it a matt black paint job to toughen it up a little, a set of wheels, and a lowering job. Four variations later, and it now carries a front end painted in gloss Wild Violet scallops.
It runs a warmed over 460, a shift kitted C6 auto, and a 3.25 nine inch.
