The car was purchased from Ohio in all original condition with only 3,300 miles on the clock. There had been no upgrades, safety modifications, or practically any maintenance done to the car. So even with the low miles, due to age and sitting dormant for a few years, a lot of work needs to be done to make it reliable and safe to drive.

The original owner was a wealthy gentleman who owned a stainless steel kitchen business, and wanted the car just for the fact that it was stainless steel. He lived on an island off the Michigan peninsula and flew to his house in his private plane. The car was a 'Sunday' driver and for that reason had very low mileage.

The previous owner had passed away, and his son-in-law transported the car to Ohio and was selling it as part of the estate. The only work that had been done to the car was repairing the headliners that were sagging, and adding new door struts to lift the doors.

The car had slight damage to almost every corner, as it seemed the previous owner must have had trouble driving it in and out of the garage (I am not sure how else the damage could of occured, as it had so little miles on it). All the damage was repairable with a bit of paint and blending the stainless panels.

All the pictures on this page were taken when I first went to look at the car. I had taken a weekend trip to look at several cars in the Ohio/Michigan area.

The car was not driven that much, and from sitting, age had played a factor in the deterioration of some parts. Work needed to be done to make it safe and reliable to drive.
