JANUARY 16, 2006 - Well today I broke down and bought a brand new 06 Charger SXT (3.5L V6)The Hemi was another 4K .. but this car kicks hard with 250hp and I am quite proud of it. Here are the first 4 pictures I took of it.
(23rd) In just the 2 weeks I have had it, I have put 300 miles on it, and had it tinted with a blue Dodge symbol and the word "Charger" in the back window and ordered 22" Panther rims and low profile tires. which will go on it the second the winter weather fades away These are the rims -- I couldnt wait, they went on the car on Jan 23rd
01-24-06 - Well, it was kind of a foggy day out but here are the pics of the ride as of today - shows the tint and new 22 in Panthers on it ... hope you like - the first shot is the rear window with a blue silver emblem embedded in the tint - I thought it looked great, mirror finish on the outside, but you can see through it from the inside -
01-25-06 - Strange, I got the new wheels on and needed to take the car to the Dodge dealer so they could recalibrate the Speedo to accomodate the 22in wheels. Well, when they plugged into the computer to do this, they FRIED IT! So after news that they were overnighting a new computer from Portland, then finding out they didnt have one, NOW they have to order from the national warehouse and have been told it will be Mon or Tues now before the car will be fixed and I get it back. Under warranty of course but it worried me a bit. I also found out that the transmission over time will check how the driver drives and will adjust its shift points for optimum output. interesting! Well, thats all for now ... will update as I get more info! Thanks for all the Emails with suggestions and parts sites!
