This is the new project. Crappy picture, but this is basically it. It dosent look like much right now. The body is in great shape, I refinished all the fiber glass, added the GT scoops on the side, and currently working on ferrari style lights for the back.
This is the back angle of the car. Again crappy pic, but I had to take them at night which did the car no justice. You can see the side scoops really well from here where the windows used to be.
It is a GT, first year of the fastback GT's. I originally worked on the car for a friend of mine, I redid all the fiber glass, and we rebuilt the engine and transmission. But he hit some hard points in life, and I had some cash so it worked out perfect, hopefully I'll have all the cosmetics done by the end of the year. Seems like along time, but I dont want the rattle can paint like I did on my other car. This car is a hard to find machine, and to me is a classic. And just because its a mid-engine domestic makes it that much better.
By the end of the year this is kind of how I want the car to look. Simple, clean, but to the point. The 2.8l V-6 will either be swapped out, LS1, NorthStar 32V V-8, or be bored .30 over and turbo charged and inter cooled. I have some great plans for this car, and will be posting new pics every month with progress.
