I WANTED TO POST A COUPLE PICTURES OF THE O-RING BLOCK SINCE PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS ASKING WHAT THIS MEANS.
TALK ABOUT A TIGHT FIT! THERE IS NO ROOM TO WORK UNDER A C4 VETTE! AND WITH ALL THE CUSTOM MODS WE HAD TO DO, THERE WAS ENDLESS TRIAL AND ERROR UNTIL WE FOUND OUT WHAT WORKED BEST.
NOW -- WHERE DID THIS WIRE GO??????? AND WHAT THE HECK IS THAT - A SPARE PART?!?!?!
TO KEEP THE BEAST COOL, WE BOUGHT THE LARGEST GRIFFIN ALUMINUM RADIATOR OFFERED FOR A VETTE. THIS TOO REQUIRED EXTENSIVE FABRICATION, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. THE AVERAGE RUNNING TEMPERATURE FELL FROM 235 TO 179!!! EVEN RUNNING IT HARD AND IN TRAFFIC. THE PHOTO ON THE LEFT SHOW THE FACTORY RADIATOR -- SO YOU CAN SEE THE OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE.
AS TIGHT AS EVERYTHING FITS, THE INDUCTION PLUMBING IS AMAZING AT HOW CLOSE IT ALL COMES TOGETHER.... THE BRACKETS WERE CUSTOM MADE OR CNC MODIFIED.
