The car is finished enough to take it out in public. It's February 12, 2010 and the car is now entered in the Indianapolis World of Wheels event at the state fairgrounds. Cars from all over the country compete in this indoor show. Let's see how she looks. We won't know until Sunday what the judges think of her. I must admit that the camera I took these with didn't like the lighting in the arena. I have other shots coming from other cameras that I'll upload when I have them. Ok; the car looks better than me, but you knew that.

Well; the show is over and the car is safe back at home. What a weekend. It was so much fun talking to the spectators about the car. I consider the biggest compliment to be the ones where people can't believe the engine isn't the original stock engine. She was put in the Conservative Hardtop 55-59 class and had to compete against the tri-fives (3 57s and a 55). She won. That's me with the big grin.

The next picture is of the team at Paradise Road Rod & Custom. What a fantastic job they did. At least one of them was with me and the car all weekend. Thanks guys.

After a long run and a big weekend; she's back at home tucked away in her own bed. A big thank you goes to my friend Mike Norman for a safe haul to and from the show.
