It took me a long time, but I finally got to putting this together. I have been wanting to do this since we were a 1 PT family. I bought my 2001 as a 1 owner car in 2003. Over the few years I have owned it, I added many things (and many miles). A small list of the things I have added since:
- 18 inch chrome Limited 702 wheels
- Front windows tinted to match the rear
- Chrome trimmed vent shades
- Viper alarm with remote starter
- 6 disk changer custom mounted in glove box
- Blue Street Glow under body neon, and neon in grille (remote controlled via alarm)
- Chrome door handle inserts
- Custom one of a kind etched chrome pillar covers
- Billet shorty antenna and chrome bezel
- Blue Street Glow headlight strobes
- Red and blue strobes under the dash
- Blue lighted PT Cruiser logo door sills
- One of a kind custom 3rd brake light cover
- Clarion 6.5 inch touch screen DVD player
- Painted bumpers and mirrors matched to body color
- Chrome bumper trim front and rear
- White strobes in air vents
- TYC euro backup lights
- Chrome t-handle replacing the rear wiper arm
- Much more to come
This car has been in many shows and has won a few trophies. I don't show it for the trophies. Its just been a fun time adding things to it and driving it. Its been a daily driver for the past 3 years, and served me quite well. She has paid her dues and is now retired and is only used for shows, parades, and cruise nights. I'll be adding more pics as time permits.
The Family photo
One of the shows I was at last year, displaying 2 of my trophies.
This was taken at a local cruise night showing off the blue neon underbody.
The etching legend, Kokomo etching my pillars.
The etched pillars, hard to see in photo's, but in person look awesome.
