---This one is a 1979 Traveler (118" Weel Base Scout II with fiberglass top and full liftgate/hatchback) I picked up in Southern Alabama after Hurricane Ivan. After saving it from an otherwise undeserving owner, a bud of mine (who found it) towing it back with his 2002 Expedition and another of his bud's trailer, I swapped a few parts with my bud and paid $350 for the title. Total cost on getting it here was $900... Not bad for a $2,500 OBO truck. $100 x 2 for new brake drums, 2 new wheel cylinders, a new water pump, a tune up (cap, rotor, plugs, wires), carb rebuild and a little TLC (loose fasteners mainly) got it running strong in no time.
---I'll post more on it when it graduates to something more than a mobile lawn decoration. It runs but is not yet roadworthy... and I haven't the time right now to work on it.
---This truck is the 88th truck registered at the International Owners' Gallery
