-Youre about to see one crazy 1995 Honda civic SI project named Onecrazy95civic by me when the project started nearly 5 years ago in the summer of 2001. A dream of mine, to create a project so crazyas crazy as it can get. This is not my first project with this car but is definitely my last Honestly what else could I do more??? As youll see a lot of modifications were done on this project, from the body, engine, to the stereo, some of them pretty crazy!!! I was going to wait until the car was completed before sharing it with the world, but the car is many years late from its original due date and probably wont be completed this year due to some unfortunate events in my life. You may ask yourself whyto be honest at this moment I've lost some of the fun with this project due to some bad luck and being screwed out of money!!! This project cost me a lot of cash, headache and personal adversity. Shane and Jim at Special FX auto body, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, brought my vision to life and these guys are by far the best people that I ever dealt with. Anyway Im at a point where my interest in this project has nearly disappeared. The headaches & sleepless nights that Ive encountered with the other 2 shops have taken their toll. So I decided to share with you my dream project and show the civic even though it's not complete. Im proud to say that Ive done this project with my own money, a good body shop and no real big name sponsors, so yes big dollars!!! Ask my ex wife (LOL)!!! Ive considered selling the car but this project has become such a big part of my life. It would be like asking me to sell one of my kids!!! Id considered before looking for sponsors to complete this project but never pursued the issue, now Ive decided to pursue that idea, so if theres any body or company who wants to sponsored and complete this project let me know.
Some of the body mods that was carried out:
1. Headlight conversion to a `00 Honda Accord projector
headlights,
2. Taillight conversion to a `94 Acura Integra Altelzza style taillights,
3. Acura NSX still vents (metal not fiberglass),
4. Flip forward hood,
5. Motorize trunk lid (see page 4 w/motorization video),
6. Buel motorcycle gas cap,
7. Roof scoop (metal not fiberglass),
8. Lambo door,
9. Shave door handles, antenna, mouldings and rain gutter,
10. A full custom body kit.

1/2. As you can see the headlights of the civic were converted to a '00 Honda Accord projector headlights. The fabrication was done using metal, no fiberglass.

3/4. My goal when this project started was to give the car a very clean look, shave everything and no wide body. Just a classic look.

5/6. All it needs now its color, which will be a metallic blue. The engine compartment and everything else inside the car has already been painted that metallic blue.

7/8. The rear end of the car was totally rebuilt so a pair of 94 Acura Integra Altelzza taillights could be house. This rear conversion was built from scratch with metal no fiberglass.

9/10. The trunk lid was also totally rebuilt. A second civic trunk lid was needed to fabricate the extension for the lip. Even the corners where extended using metal fabrication.

11/12. The end result!!! As you can see a lot of craftsmanship and work went into this construction. A dual exhaust system was also added.

13/14. You can't even tell that the trunk lid was extended and reshape. It may not look like it but a lot of work went into rebuilding this to make it looh stock.

15/16. It might be hard to see, but if you take a good look, the lip of the trunk lid lip was extended nearly 1 1/2 inch from its original. Giving the look of a low profile wing.

17/18. The hood flip forward on a custom hinge system.

19/20. Lambo doors...Courtesy of DECAH. Notice the shave door handles & mouldings, all shave using metal, no fiberglass. It gives it a nice clean look.

21/22. A BUELL motorcycle gas cap was moulded in replacement of the factory gas cap.

23/24. NSX style vents were made out of metal and incorporated into the car. No fiberglass involves!!!
25. This roof scoop is made out of metal & its none functional. It does have 2 drains incorporated in it for water to escape. Notice the shave rain gutter. Again all metal no fiberglass.

26/27. The bodywork on this project is totally done and it's ready for paint. If you think for a second this page was crazy wait until you see the rest of it...At this time I'm looking for a paint company who would like to sponsored the paint job.

28/29. After playing with some colors on photoshop this is the color I've chosen to paint the car. Going to be crazy!!!
