This is my K1 Evoluzione project. I have been working on it for a few years now as I continue to "improve" the original kit.

The donor car was an '87 Firebird 6 cylinder automatic. The kit has been supplemented with vertical door hinges, molded in tail light recesses with LED lights, the rear wing has been motorized and "gill" slats have been added to the side openings. The rear end of the donor car has been cut off and rebuilt with square tubing and sheet metal to create a flat floor, recessed battery box and clearance for tail lights. Third brake light is from an '04 Impala (GM LED) and the outside door handle is a Lincoln LS piece.

The mechanicals have been upgraded with the drivetrain from a '95 Trans Am. The radiator, LT1 V8, T56 manual transmission, pedals and shifter have been replaced. A Spohn driveshaft and Moser 12 bolt with 33-spline forged bolt-in axles and True-trac differential provide additional durability for engine mods. The chassis has been reinforced with Spohn sub-frame connectors, Intrax springs and Lakewood pieces locating all points of the rear axle.

They only made 45-50 kits. Only half dozen were ever finished in the U.S. So, no I don't know. There is a finished one on 3bay. I keep threatening to give up on mine.
