If you are wondering this is not my car, it is my moms. I am just going to put it up here until she gets her own page.
This is my moms 71 Olds 442 clone. Before anybody says anything, this is a 71. She just likes the 72 rear bumper better so she changed it. It has a harwood scoop bolted on, she picked the hood up for $50 and decided to check it out. She plans on getting a ram air hood. It has some real 442 parts such as the fenders and doors, interior, almost every part on the car except the body itself.
She still has the original hood plus two others. The two are without louvers. She has enough extra parts to build another car. A new frame was put under this one also. She has a spoiler for it, as soon as the car is in primer she is going to put it on.
It has real 71 442 grills, which I think is the best looking 442/cutlass grills ever made.
As for the body, it does need work. The quarters are rusting pretty bad and the trunk is rusted, all of that will be fixed within the next two months, around the same time when my car is going to be fixed. The car will be painted cherry black when done. She may paint on stripes, she is not sure though. She will probably make up her mind as soon as she gets a ram air hood or when the body work is done. As you can tell, this one needs new rims (BADLY). I am about ready to give her my cragers, can't stand the rims on her car. Only one has the center cap and its still ugly with it on there. She is going to have custom made 15/10 oldsmobile rallys put on the rear. There is a place she found that will take any rim and make it into a 15/10 rim. Pretty cool if you ask me. It costs like $300.00 for a pair so it may be a little while untill she gets them. She is more concerned with the ram air hood and the body work for now. For the fronts she is planning on getting 14/7 olds rallyes.
Here are some pics of the parts of the car that needs the most work.
The rear quarters are real bad, looks worse in person!!
