A perfect unmolested example of old school American craftsmanship. I have the original owners manual and dealer brochure and shop manual. Only 50,000 miles on this car, that's right NOT 150 or 250 but 50,000!

100% rust free original frame and floors. Original 292 Y8 Yblock "Thunderbird" motor, power steering, car rides and smells like NEW! Fresh paint, new interior including carpeting and seats. FLOWMASTER exhaust

I have driven this car all around Long Island, NYC and even to Foxwoods. I drive this car sure its pampered but its not a pussy car and wants to drive, not collect dust in a garage.

THIS CAR IS MY LIFE! Let me know what you think, more pictures coming soon.

Sweeeeeeeeeet!!! I've got a 62 Galaxie 500 as well. They are classy rides ---- and I agree with the other poster (tacksharp) that says that yours is perfect. Though I applaud anyone for their own individuality, stock never goes out of style.

*Finally another '62!!* You don't see many of our cars around. Clean beast! Exact reverse colors of mine. What are the odds? I bet that car crusies perfectly. I'm in the process of turning mine back into a crusier... the blower and the 427 are going into my '65. A stock-ish 390 will be powering the '62. Drop me a message sometime - we'll chat. I have lots of parts, too... -Steve

My dad's got a '62 galaxie convertible with the big block (352) and 3 on the tree. It's also got 5 spoke 20 inch boyd coddingtons and dual exhaust. I love the look and it is VERY rare to see another '62 Galaxie. Great looking car and good to know the people still drive em (just like we do).
