Thanks for checkin out my ride! This is an authentic 66 Austin Cooper S that I picked up a few days before Holloween in 05. It has been sitting since around since 78. Luuuckily it was garaged and is in excellent condtion. However...it definitely needs a full restoration. These pages from here on out...Hopefully will track my progress thru restoration. Well.. Here goes!

First of all here is the first shot I took of the car. Exacly where it sat for 27 years.

The story I got was that the hubby had an issue with the hydrolastic suspension leaking so he parked it in 78 to change out all the liquid suspension out for springs. (FYI it wasnt the hydrolastic leaking...it was the brakes)Annnnyways... here are a few more pics:


As you can see the interior was in great shape...for being 39 years old. I pulled up the carpet to see the rust situation under the rugs.
