The car was advertised for $2k (as shown in pic) but due to some dodgey paper work on the car yard side, I got it for $550. It needed a new motor and a few other things for a roadworthy certificate so I could drive it.

Once its on the road I have plans for a 5 speed gearbox, 3.91 LSD, front air dam and Alpina Lip Flares to fit some Alpina replica 15x7" wheels (from an E30).
So lots more pics to come.

The car is now fully registered and roadworthy. I had to replace the following items to get the roadworthy:
Centre tailshaft bearing
Guibo (rubber tailshaft coupling)
Gearbox mount
Dead reverse globe
and cut rust from the RHS Floor pan - pics to come

You found the car I had been looking for, it looks very nice even if it did not have engine, please keep adding photos of your the progress restoring it. Do you know about any 2002 club in Victoria (Melbourne)

Judging by the way that car looks, it could have easily be sold for way more than what you got it for, but I suppose nobody ever complains about a bargain, right? I didn't know you picked up another car, good luck with it!
