Created this cad drawing in 2005. Came out really close with the exception of the handlebars.
The planning stages of the bike.
The construction stages. I used 1inch black plumbing pipe for the back half of the bike. I utilized a magna bicycle for the front half. Gave it some more rake, and added the handles off a tiller for a pretty convincing pair of ape hangers.
I originally made this chopper to house two engines, but i couldnt get them to sync together effectively.
So i took off the smaller engine and went with just the 5horse for awhile. Eventually a piece of the govenor fell out of the block and got in the rod/crank/cam and locked the motor up. When i got it apart, the rod had dents and chips out of it from the piece of the govenor rattling around. A real bad deal all the way around.
After the original motor locked up on me, i got another 5hp briggs. I decided to hot rod this one. Its a single bearing cool bore block. Added a 94ss dyno cam, tilly hl334 carb, K&N filter, arc 3.875 billet rod, and milled head. I have a Noram Racing Clutch on it with a 14 tooth driver and a 72 tooth rear gear and a 16in diameter tire. Running 5500 rpm's it will do 50mph
