The RIPP Tiburon program started when a local TIB owner and enthusiast approached RIPP about it's SDS program. To be honest we were not convinced it was the way to go, but after driving a mildly prepared GT, we were sold.
The program has gotten off to a great start, and never looked back; we now offer some of the most powerful conversion on the market on four continents. That's right RIPP SDS's are sold in Korea, Australia, Germany, England and the US. The Koreans are doing a great job with 347whp from the stock block, and RIPP is bringing this technology to the states in 2006. The RIPP Tib below is now producing 337whp utilizing the stock ECU with no additional tuning, although a Apexi AFC is installed for monitoring and small trims the bulk of the tuning is preprogramming into the stock ECU.
The entire set up is completely dynamic, besting some high dollar cars like M3�s, 996�s, SVT�s, Sti�s, SRT4�s and many more. This set up never let us down, and in mid fall, the car ran a 12.88-quarter mile closing the traps at 109mph. Best of all the Stage 1 cars are producing 290whp with only 8psi of boost. The CEO�s car is running 12psi, but on a built block. In stage 2 testing the car, DYNO�d 311whp publicly at the Mid-Ohio Motorsports complex at an event call Triple-Crown, hosted by Speed Style and Sound Magazine. The event pinned cars of all types against each other in a time trial event similar to Grand �Turismo for Play Station. The RIPP Tib with Ross Esposito at the wheel took first place over all and won the coveted King Of The Streets award. In short, this set up can perform and out perform when put to the test.
The look and feel of our Tib come by way of the Concepto S1 car conversion, an extremely rare and total over all look upgrade, making the car give the impression of being more exotic than any other �ricer� type kits. More often than not people in much more expensive cars will stop to ask what kind of car we are driving, as it appears to have a more European look, couple that to the performance and it�s easy to see why the boss drives this car.
