This is my restoration project.... It's a 1973 Saab Sonett III #22 off the line in this year.
It's an extremely rare car and it definately needs some love, which she will receive ;)
Most people don't know what a Sonett is... so here is a little info.
The Saab Sonett III is a very sporty car... although it only has 68hp, it is an auto crosser's dream car lol. It has superb handling with the double wishbone suspension on the front and a solid rear axle in the rear. It is FWD and has a 4 Speed Transmission along with a Ford V4 motor... yes, Ford V4. These motors were often found in generators and industrial equipment. They are pretty much bomb proof lol. 68hp isn't much, but the car weighs literally nothing. The body is all fiberglass, fiberglass bucket seats, fiberglass dash, little roll bars, and 2 seats. It is a very light car with responsive handling. It also has a sweet dual catless exhaust from both headers hehe ;) Sounds mean hehe
It runs beautifully while the only real problems are the clutch master cylinder and the rusted floor boards. I plan on restoring this car back to it's original form :)
