fordnut84's 1970 Ford Capri

1970 Ford Capri, the car was originaly a 1600 but i bought it with a v6 engine and 5 speed celica box and v6 diff. have got most parts, needs assembly but first i am stripping the paint back as it was a dodgy job and respraying, then rebuilding the motor and cleaning everything up. Will take a while to do but will get through it with a bit of perserverance and a hand from a couple of mates

Looking to now paint it black if i can get the panel work good enough, or a nice bright white. turns out the paint isnt the only thing thats wrong with it, have now found patches of bog and small bits of rust coming through

Seats have already been retrimmed, door trims need new backing, new carpet needed, looking at making custom dash as the old dash pad is cracked and the dash mat seems to have been either glued on or stuck to it from heat. Don't know if the gauges work, but they're not exactly in great cond, and it doesnt have a tacho

Future plans are for triple webber setup to replace the current single carb, one like this would be nice
