Hey, thanks for checkin out my car. Steaming an engine... I work at a used car dealership and do detail. We have a huge, really expensive pressure washer. To steam an engine what we do is spray the motor down with degreaser, and cover up the air cleaner if its open. If its in an airbox, which, Im guessing yours is, dont worry about it. Things you should avoid are directly spraying the distributer, hose connections, computers, or anything that looks like water would bother it and get pulled apart easy. You can probably do it with a garden hose, you dont nesecarily need a pressure washer with a heater. But the degreaser is important. We get our chemicals from a company called Ardex. Im not sure how to get a hold of some, but its good stuff. Its good for wheels too. DONT STEAM THE PAINT. You'll take it right off the car. Ok, later.
