Here's my Monte, same age as me built in 85. The Monte Carlo is by far my favourite automobile. The 80's style G-Bodys are to me very appealing and as I have found are alot of fun to modify and race. This Monte was bought off an older lady from Cambridge. It's a Custom Luxury model with power windows, locks, tilt steering, factory a/c, cruise, landau roof, am/fm casette and many more options.

Since I have aquired this machine I have spent many hours and a few dollars to modify it. This past summer (2005) I built and installed a 355CI SBC. The motor features: flat top hyperutectic pistons, half inch lift cam, 1.94 stainless steel valves with 3-angle valve job, heavy duty springs, edelbrock aluminum intake match ported to heads, edelbrock 650CFM carb, accel plugs and 8.8mm spiral core wires, and headers. Behind the motor I have a 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust system with race reddies, Magnaflow high_flow cats and Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers (highly recommended).
