This is my 1985 Saab 900 16V Turbo.
UPDATE: February 23, 2006
I've added some pictures, the following below are from Sand-Blast Rally 2006. RallyBoy.com worked one of the stages as a Marshall, keeping spectators off course, and helping drivers if needed in their direction and incase of a flip over or what not. Be sure to check out www.rallyboy.com for pictures and video from the event!
Current Modifications
>Modified APC box (using the 900aero.com mod)
Currently running 15psi (up from the 10psi stock).
>Boost gauge, stock unit has no numbers, and is very inaccurate.
>"Test Pipe" Exaust. Stock catalytic converter, although I can't gurantee what's inside if anything ;-) and just a straight pipe to the rear. Actually sounds pretty damn good! Will be adding a resonator (glass pack) soon, to help mellow it out a tad, but keep excellent flow. Inspections are no worry :-D
1 Month Goals
>Install a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator
>Install 26#/hour injectors
>Install front mount inercooler. Going for a 18"X6"X3" core. GREAT flow, and low heat soak.
>Up boost to about 18psi
>Saab 9000 clutch. Much larger surface area. Should be good for about 300HP.

This car was purchased December 23, 2005. Since then I have done the following work:
Gave her a GOOD wash and wax (new pics when I get them)
New Bendix front brake pads
New brake hardware
New fuel filter
New air filter
New radiator fan thermoswitch (82 degree C)
New thermostat
Rebuilt the distributor with new hall sensor
New Ignition control module
New OEM NGK plugs, distributor cap and rotor
Oil change with engine flush. Castrol GTX and Purolator premium filter
Cleaned the intercooler, flushed all the oil out of it.
Things still to do:
New wires (OEM Bouigard)
Clean up engine bay, DEGREASE TIME!
Tranny flush
Change belts (have them, need to install)
Change radiator hoses (have them, need to install)
UPDATE 02/05/06 -- FIXED!!!! GREAT boost now, was the pressure sensor leaking, APC and ECU never got a proper reading!!!
Resolve boost issue. Stuck in "base boost" at 5.1psi. Should be boosting 10+psi. Either an APC issue, or fuel starvation problem (haven't run the car since having to rebuild the distributor)
Begin replacing worn wiring. Some wiring has corroded badly, thingks like the knock sensor are beginning to go, A/C fan is badly corroded, cruise control harness, etc. Most '85s had this issue.
