!!!This here is my 1989 Honda CRX HF!!!
801IsLaNdBoY's 1989 Honda CRX

The CRX came into my possesion for only $400 bucks, It was completely stock with the exception of the head unit and speakers. The CRX was in decent shape the only problem areas were the tears in the seats and door panels for the interior. And 2 inch rust spots on both quarter panels and surface rust around the sun roof for the exterior. And of course dole, faded paint but all of these are common to a 16+ year old car. But just some sanding and fiberglass with some bondo work and all is well. I primed the whole car gray and put some black doughnuts on it from a 2001 accord. Followed by some skunk2 adjustable coilovers in the front and a short ram intake. About a month later I put on some 4-2-1 headers and 2 1/2 inch exhaust all the way back.

But sadly the CRX has been in two accidents in the past 2 years. The first a front end smasher at a f*@#%!g stop sign just sitting there and wham a car hits me. And the guy didn't have insurance so I was S O L. My bumper, fender, hood, side marker, headlight and hood all needed replacing and the frame a little tweeked. So I replace the parts and primer them except for the hood cause its black. So the car was sitt'n all purrrty and crap again. And the 2nd accident happened when I was in work and my car was in the parking lot. I guess a big ass F-150 hit the drivers side door and quarter panel smashing the hell out of it and cracking my window. But this guy had the nerves to leave the scene and I had to track him down a few days later and confront him. He had insurance so the insurance company totals the CRX and says they will give me $1,000 to take it or $700 to keep it. So I chose to keep it staying true to my project. And from there my CRX took a back seat to my pregnant wife and son on the way. So now it sits in my garage all smashed up waiting for attention.

Hey man thanks for checkin out my site! I am in the process of updating in the next few days. I honestly would use that one as a daily driver and see if you can get another one without a "tweaked frame" for the project. Keep me updated on the D series build. You know, with a cam, ZC pistons and some good engine management you can but down B16 power!!
