They told me it's the highest scored car so far for the series. 19.7 out of 20. They sent me a letter stating that the show would air the 13th of Decmber 2007 at 5:00pm and that didn't happen. The show got moved forward to 4:00 because of the druggie baseball player updates. Stay tuned!!!! They will be showing reruns and they are supposed to contact me with the dates. What do you know, they reran the show on the 26th of April and did not contact me about it. Don't you love it when companies drop the ball? Latest pictures of car with taller tires on front. Car is officially done ???? STAY TUNED This winter I'm going to powdercoat my exhaust system flat black from the headers back. (Done 12/17/07) Also pulled the motor for a freshen up. (about 6000 miles) Motor had no problems. Also installing a 3500 stall converter. Car will launch alot harder. Below is my baby at the lake. Black is beautiful. When I ordered the car I wanted it to be black. In 72 black was a 97.00 option. I, at the time had a black 66 GTO with a 440 rat motor and a white 64 with a Ram air IV motor, this car was bought as a work car. I sold the 2 GTOs and kept the work car??? go figure. I didn't say I was smart. But in my feeble defense I went to an all Pontiac show and had the only Ventura II there, plus won an award. There were GTOs everywhere. The Venturas were never considred a muscle car but I could have busted anything there. The car now has a Dart BBC block (Big M), Eagle crank, Crower rods, Ross pistons, Dart heads, and a Comp. cam. It's 565 ci. 9.5 to 1 comp. Runs great on pump gas. It dynoed out at 753hp. @ 6200 rpm. I have a built full race 400 turbo, 1800 stall-Changed to a 3500 in Dec. of 07., Gear Vendors unit, and a 3:90 early olds rear end. F.A.S.T. fuel injection system. DEI alarm-remote start and trunk pop. The doors also lock and unlock with the remote. The REALLY great thing about fixing up a car that is not a high dollar collectors item, is you can get creative with it and build it how ever you want. That way you can't kill the resale value. My car, pure stock and in good shape is not a high dollar item. I would not be happy with the car pure stock no matter how nice it was. If by chance I had a 74 GTO, in order to keep a high resale value, I would have to keep it pure stock and be unhappy with it. Still got to much hotrod in me to settle for a stock ride.
