My name is Peter, I live in Ontario Canada and I'm 25 years old. When I was 16 I bought this Dune Buggy for $400.
The engine was seized, and all four tires were flat. I lucked out, I traded an old outboard engine for another VW Engine, and pieced it all together to make a motor that worked.
My friends and I took it for a boot around the cottage area, got a little muddy, it was fun!
Then another day I took it out on the highway to see what she could do............
Well, I didn't get it to top out, but my friend (driving behind me taking pictures) said I was doing about 110 KM/H!!!! I didn't want to go much faster, the front end was starting to lift off the ground! To lite up front.
