These are recent pics of my project to install new timing gears and chain in a 25 year old 76,000+ miles Olds.
This thing was dirtier than my '68 was. There is no way I could just put new gears in without trying to clean and detail parts nearby.

Today I cleared the bracket for the cruise and the bracket for the altenator.
I'll post pics after assembly soon. The black bolts against the silver brackets are going to be awesome!!!






Well I have been working hard to get it going and finally it happened Sunday September 27th.

I still need to do detail work and put my cruise control parts on.
I also need to drain and flush the tranny, it doesn't seem to go into overdrive very easy.
