Nautique is a 1978 Dodge Van that I have built over the years. I have owned this van since 1980. I have always loved the ocean and decided to build the van around this theme. When we show it, we set up everything as though it was sitting on a dock waiting to sail off into the sunset. She has a 318 with a 4bbl carb and Borla exhaust. The stereo has won numerous soundoffs. The van has won Best Theme at the Van Nationals numerous times.
I have dedicated the van to both of my parents. I lost my father in 2005. He was Capt. Phil Martin and yest he was a boat captain. He loved the sea. He loved fishing. He chartered his own boat called the "Dolphin". I lost my mother this year 2007 in June. She was my fathers first mate on his boat as well as in life.
The murals on the van were painted by Brian Gavek of Centre Hall, PA. He is quite talented and I am proud of the murals he place on there. I came up with thie ideas and he put them on the van.
