EXTERIOR

I always like the look of the A4 Cabrio version of the Golf. I wanted to get the look of the Cabrio on my hardtop VR6.

I cut all the front to put in a cabrio front and I also be able to obtain the fenders of the A4 Cabrio and paint the headlights black for a good look.

We actually made the cover for the license plate area on the bumper.

One other thing we did is that we repainted it black using a DuPont clearcoat, but we also added aluminum flakes to the paint to give it a very brilliant shine.

Notice the distinctive band around the middle of the fenders.

The lights are also the very same as found on a Cabrio.

This is a spoiler from my cousin's amazing 1999 Lexus RX300. The 2001-03 RX300s have a different spoiler that is very similar in its angle to aftermarket spoilers already available for the Golf. We like the angle of this one much better.

An APC Direct Flow Muffler and exhaust tip to give even more power than the earlier, restrictive OEM muffler.

My tires are 205/40ZR17 BF Goodrich Scorchers with Eagle Alloy Rims. We recently took off the bigger rotors and calipers from a later model VR6 and put them on ours.
