I think I have finally removed all of the blue off of the car now! Wow, what an adventure!!!
Almost 2 years ago, I started with the cowl panel and amazingly enough, it was one of the last pieces I had to do. If I had known how much sanding was involved in getting in between ALL those vents, I would have sand blasted it when I had it off the car so long ago. Oh well, at least is all done now. You can see the paint through the grill openings, so there should be no more rust showing up there ever again.

I also chose to sand down the upper door channels to remove all that old paint, and I had one little fittment issue with the grill piece between the fender extensions. I did not think it was a major issue for being a repop part.

Lastly was the worst of all! My weedeater fell on the brand new original tooling fenders and caused two small dents... I was pissed when that happened, but still, no big deal.

And this is what it all looked like it was done. I am pleased with the outcome and now I have to sand down the whole car for its final prime and paint! Almost there!!!!
