I FINALLY got the quarters primed. They turned out excellent and I have only the quarter extensions to finish up. The drivers side is complete and the passenger one is probably 50%. I hope to get more on that this week.

Here is with the fender extensions finished. Overall they were alot of work, but I think they were worth it.

Then the GT style valance. It had a few waves in it from being a repop'd part, but it was a decent fit. The only major problem was I had to cut and extend it about 3/8" on the passenger side. I probably could have left it alone, but it is all the small details that make the impressions.

On to the repop'd fender extensions. Overall fit was good but finish on the parts was bad! The inside was very wavy from grinding operations. I guess it is things like this that will kill you when you have to pay a bodyman to do all this... makes the original good parts worth every penny. Though, I am happy with my repop extensions.

Overall the vacuum formed trunk lid fit wonderfully. I did install the shelby taillights for a test fit, and it looked great. I will snap another shot of those when they get mounted again.

FANTASTIC car, clean and classic. both me and my wife like it ! Looks like you take good care of it, Great job !! My car is almost just like it but I finished back in 97, my body parts are from miaer racing and I also did the side scoops. your right about the end caps being hard but I sanded a little at a time and it turned out nice, are you going to put the hood trim on to complete the front? I had to bend mine to form a tight fit and then I fiberglassed it on from under the hood, plus I added the front valance with the radiator opening on it. Check it out and see.

Great job! I'm sure you've inspired many people like myself to start restoring their rusty old ponies. Thanks and all the best!

You have a great project going there. I can't wait to see it when it's done! You are definitely doing the job right...

I have two questions about your 8.8" rear end install. Where did you buy the spring perches and why did you need to replace the axles? Thanks, MustangChuck
