My father, George - age 28, just out of the Navy.
This is a page to briefly give tribute to my father.
He is the reason I can work on cars like I do and was responsible for beginning to teach me to work on engines/cars/equipment from his small engine repair business he had for over 25 years.
Prior to starting his own business, he was a machinist for 10+ years, so it gave him a wealth of knowledge to pass on to his sons.
I am here to say, I feel he did a great job on passing on that information to me and my brother, and it is my honor to say I hope I have learned a portion of what this great man has forgotten in his long and prosperous life.
He was a great man, husband, father, grandfather and teacher and I will miss you more than words can describe. May you look down on me from time to time and feel proud of the job you did with me. I also hope to bring continued pride to the family you left behind by being a good man, father and son.
Thank you for a very good life, and I love you so much.
