yeah, i know... i've kinda done it backwards... but i wanted all the cool stuff to be on the first page ;-)
June 2006...
so at 4000miles old, and headed to the dealer for her first service, she got a gift: Mazdaspeed Springs and Shocks, and RX-8 OEM 18" Rims. to many it's a boring mod... to me, it adds a touch of class to an already beautiful car. and the result... even better than i'd hoped!
here she is in the middle of a PCH test drive. what an absolute blast this car is to drive now. i mean, it's not like she was crap before... but with the lower stance, WAY less body roll, and bigger footprint, it's like riding in a go-kart :-)
groovy red Mazdaspeed Springs and rear camber links, plus blue shocks, and she was very popular at the tire dealer when the rims went on ;-)
speaking of which... OEM RX-8 18"s married to Dunlop Direzza DZ101 225/40/18 ultra-high performance summer tires. not the stickiest rubber in the world, but i liked them because they had a rim protector built into the sidewall.

and these... from the same day. but the june gloom had rolled in :-( one of them does, however, show off the rear lip spoiler that was added a couple of weeks after i bought her.
