Mine came factory with a 351M. I dropped off a 400M to be built up months ago. Should be around 400hp and 385lbs of torque at 2500 RPM all on 87 octane. Problem is the guy "lost" my connecting rods, and tried to give me back the wrong heads. If I can ever get all my parts back I'll take it to a different machine shop. Planning on using a Holley PRO Injection unit I have on top. Denny

The Sanctuary Catalog I have from '98 lists the roof rail weather strip with T-Tops set at 395.00 Long time ago but they list it. I also found a fella who bought the molding press from ford for these seals. I think he was in CA maybe. 800.00 if memory is workin. I found him through the International Thundrbird Club or Hemmings Motor News. I can't remember that either. I no longer belong to ITC. They welcomed all birds, but only ever had anything for the early birds. I slather the seals with vasaline to keep them from dry cracking. Still leak, but better. Just a few more places to check for parts. Denny

Me too ME too! I've got a '79 t-top too. I'm running 15 x 8 cragar ss w/255-60-15. The t-bird sanctuary was a great parts place. Don't know if they are still around, but try a search. Let me know if you find anything. I think your bird looks real nice. I voted build a motor. More GO less SHOW! Denny
