These extraordinary cars were only made for model year 1977 and were specially prepared by Michigan Automotive Techniques. The total number of Mirage's produced was 4097 (some debate on this number) and as of now only a handful still survive. The Mirage pictured is the same one that I bought new on 9/23/77 in Macomb, IL. I took loving care of the car until I made a huge mistake and sold it on 8/9/93. After regretting this decision for almost a decade, I found her and bought her back (special thanks to Andy) on 8/3/02.
