Update: spun a bearing on the original engine, let it sit for a year, put a H.O. out of a 94 grand am gt in it and it had a bad headgasket so i sold it to my friend, he's had it for 1 1/2 years and it'll be going to the junkyard anytime now.
This is my 1995 Achieva S. My uncle bought it off the original owner who hit a deer. He had the car for a month before my dad bought it off of him for $400. When I got it the headlight, fender, hood, and door were smashed in. It had 154,000 miles on it and water leaks in the floor under the drivers side dash.
I had a choice between that and a 1993 Cougar with a blown head gasket. The Achieva had a Sony Xplod cd player and a quad 4 dohc. Since I got the car I have replaced the headlight bracket, hood ($130), fender ($45), oil, oil filter, alternator ($150+$60 labor), belt ($13), tensioner pulley ($38) and a headlight bulb.I have some cheap speakers($60) in the trunk from Pepboys. They have blue neon rings but I haven't got around to hooking them up yet.
