Battery Recocation
First off, I used a kit that I got from my local performance shop. I came with all the parts I used.
It had a 2 gauge power wire and 2 gauge ground wire with all the necessary crimps.
And it had a mounting tray with all the hold down straps.
First thing that you do is to disconect and remove the battery.
The next thing I did was to drill a hole in the firewall. (NOTE: allways be carefull when drilling holes, watch out for wires, gas lines, ect...)
Then I mounted the new battery tray in the trunk. (NOTE: Watch out for the gas tank and gas lines under the trunk of the car. look befor you mount anything)
The next step was to remove the back seat and all the floor panals.
I grounded the nagitive to the metal behind the side panel in the trunk. Then I ran the power wire. I started in the trunk with the side panal and worked forwards.
I stuck the wire under the carpit. After the wire was ran I put the inside back together
Next feed the wire through the hole that was drilled.
The next thing was to do the wiring under the hood. I hooked the ground to the fraime of the car.
I put split loom on the power wire to protect it from the heat.
The power wires I hooked up to the distribution block (Fuse Box under the hood).
Put the battery in the tray in the trunk and hook it up.
Remove the tray from up front and your done
