Despite all of the amazing alterations I have done to outside of my van, most of my time and effort has gone to the inside.

This picture shows the lounging/bed area that I used to have in the middle of the van in place of seats. The floor may look stock, but there was actually 2 layers of carpet padding covered in a gray to match fleece blanket. And of course it was complete with a nice big white pillow up against the subwoofer box. In highschool this was the perfect setup, I had a steady girlfriend and not a lot of quiet places for "quality time" to be spent so you can imagine the back of the van got a lot of use back then. Now though, I am a Senior bachelor in college so if I ever am lucky enough to have a lady friend I have my own apartment to take here back to anyway. Because of that the van once again has all 7 seats back in and has taken much of party on wheels vibe on weekends when I load her up to capacity.

In the pictures above you basically get a look at what I see when I am sittin in my baby (except the new HU). All of the goodies and guages and etc.
Here is a picture of my new HU, the Clarion 835MP, that I installed on 6/18/03. It is a pretty nice rig. It has 3 pair of RCA outputs, famed SQ, sateltie ready, plays MPS's and WMA's, and all of that good stuff. More features than I can list here. Also has more colors than I know what to do with for the display, and a motorized flip down face. I didn't want my HU to be the weak part of my system and I wanted something that would beable to handle any possible future upgrades (like satelite radio) that I decided to do. Also, thing looks really nice at night too, should post some night pics up here.

Here is a picture of the face folded down.
And here is a couple pictures of the HU install.

And here is a picture of my Uniden radar detector. I bought a long while ago, about a year ago I think and while installing by HU I realised I didn't show it any love on my webpage, so I thought it was time for a picture. I used the pricematch guarantee on SD to get it for $44 shipped. This baby has saved me from many a ticket.

Here is a picture of the then new box and sub sitting in the back, before it was all hooked up with the two amps. The box of course has since been refined, and the sub replaced.
