The First System

Here is what used to be the heart of my van when I first started out. Two 12 American Pro subs, and a Crunch V-Drive amp. Both the subs are rated at 500 watts RMS and 1000 watts max. I bridged the system so now the RMS is somewhere around 400 x 2. The amp also has 2 blue backlit decible meters, one for each channel.
I sold this whole setup (subs,amp, box) to my girlfriends little brother and he now has it pounding away in his 72 MonteCarlo.

In these two shots you can see my previous HU, the first one to replace the factory cassette deck: The Aiwa HU. Just to the left of the power outlet you can see the two red switches I put in. One switch is for the amp in back, and the other is for the underbody kit(the switches are still there, but the equipment one of those swtiches controls is supremely different. Oh, and of course, you can see my first security system in the bottom of the left picture, SPIDERMAN, he used to take care of any unwelcome guests. And he was the cheapest addition to the van only 400 tickets at the arcade.

Although I am not done with her yet, I am very pleased with my results so far. I get an amazing amount of looks and double takes cruising around town with the system on and even more looks at night when I turn on the underbody, not to mention when I holla at people with the PA.
