Well Ive added a new page to show off my rebuild of my 2004 Triumph Daytona 600. I just bought this bike on 1/6/06 off of the love of my life EBAY LOL then me & my wife & oldest son drove 14 hours to pick it up in PA on 1/7/06 I will be posting pics of the rebuild on this page so stop back & check it out.The first pics are the Ebay pics , this bike was a stolen Recovery bike it has some damage but nothing I cant fix she will be good as new when Im done so keep checking back for updates.

Well the rebuild has begun , Im trying to salvage all the plastic Ive rebuilt corners Ive reglued mounting tabs back on you name it were going to reuse it so enjoy the pics.
This image as you can see the mounting tabs were broke off the headlight , NO problem Plastic weld works wonders!!
This corner was totall missing I used plastic weld & fiberglass then Duraglass then a finish with bondo
Now this was the worst on as you can see that whole peice of plastic is missing for this I used Fiberglass with the mesh just like Corvetts are made made a template out of cardboard then 4-5 hours later & lots of sading & adding material it will be done!!
Holding it together let the plastic weld cure , I used the headlight for proper spacing & so it lined up right .There was also 3 mounting tabs broken off inside the upper faring that I put back on.
The one without the Hole is the one I built from scratch the one with the hole I redrilled after I fixed that one also looks good to me.
All done in primer just need a good wetsanding then another coat of primer then wetsand one more time prep & paint
I cut off the huge rear fender & trimmed it out to fit my plate I like it.
Looks as good as new

I just went to www.Skykingproducts.com over the weekend & orders my frame sliders & my dash inlays & man o man are they nice. These arnt some cheap paper stuff these things are real plastic & fit like a glove check the before & after pics below!!
