This is my 87' Buick Century (right) next to my friends old car (an 82' Olds Omega). It is a pretty good car for traveling. Its old and isn't in great shape, but for a backup car it does a good job. The Buick has the 3800 3.8l V6, so its actually got pretty good pickup for a grandma car. This thing is my backup for when the Z is getting worked on, or I'm going on a long trip. It was bought by my grandma brand new and was rarely driven at all. When she died and it was brought from her house in Monessen PA to Wichita, it had less than 50k miles on it. It was driven by my sister first, and then I got it. In July of 04, I got myself my Datusn 280Z and the buick was parked except when needed for the occasional camping trip or if the Z was in the shop. It's a great car, just not my style.
This is just a shot of the rear. As a joke, we each had a NOS sticker and $12 exhaust tip from Wal-Mart on them. We wanted to let the rice boys know "American Mussel" can look cool too ;-) In the pic, i still have the tip, but the sticker was removed. He still has the sticker in the bottem right of the rear window, but the tip was just too much for him. Also, dig my "chrome spoiler" on the Buick! Our old cars served us well.

The engine bay. I think it looks cool anyways....
GM'z sweet 3.8l V6. Puts out 180hp and 235lbs of torque. The 3800 has got to be one of GMs best motors. It goes great in the Buick, but has also graced the Camaro, Firebird and GTP just to name a few.
Believe it or not, this car has a small kill list too!
1. 1988 Toyota Corolla
2. 99 Mercury Tracer with wing, interior and exterior neons, and stripes. lol
3. 88-96 Black Pontiac Grand Prix. Looked like they were going for the perfomance look, but not enough to beat the Buick
Take my advice. If your car is a slow POS, don't make a fool of yourself by losing to an old grandma car.
The "cockpit" Probably one of the most comforatable cars I have ever ridden in. Great for long trips.
The backseat. Something my Z doesn't have...
JVC head unit. Sound in this car is incredible. Premiere sound packing on this car.

Anyone who says a Buick isn't fast, hasn't driven one. Now I'm not saying "fast" like I'll take on Trans-Am's and Corvettes, but If you're driveing some riced out piece of crap and I pull up next to you, I will smoke you. There is no doubt in my mind this car can take it out on you.
