Welcome to my page about my 97 Dodge Dakota. It's got a Magnum V-6 with custom graphics on the side of the truck as you can see in the side view of the pictures. The graphics have changed about 2 times since the original purchase of the truck. The history of the truck goes back to 98 when my dad bought the truck brand new from Papik Motors in Luverne Minnesota. He traded in his 90 something nissan 4 cylinder truck for it. Its a beautiful truck and the things my father has done to it makes it stand out in a crowd. He sold it to me to keep it in the family line. He couldn't let it leave the family and when he got his jeep grand cherokee, he sold it to me. I have always wanted this truck from day 1. So here we go.

This is the day my dad bought the truck from Papik Motors in Luverne Minnesota. Man I look young there. You can see that there that it came off the lot with some nice graphics on the side. But have they have been changed twice since the origional purchase of the truck. Wow, we bought that just before going to my older brothers wedding... interesting.
Here it is when I bought it. Its sitting in my dads old house drive way. As a matter of fact, all the pictures you see will be taken here until I can archive some other pics of it. Until then enjoy what I have
Here is a picture around the time that we bought the Dakota. My father hadn't done anything to it yet so you see the sunvisor isn't there yet. Still looks sharp though. We were getting ready for a fishing outside our old apartment in Luverne MN.
If I remember rightly, this was the day after dad put the sunvisor on. But I could be mistaken. Any way, its a new install at the time. This pic was taken back in the summer of 97
This truck has been everywhere, I will see if I can find pictures of it with all the other licence plates. It started out in MN, then to ND, TX and ended up in IA. Fun times had by all.

if you look in the pictures, you can see my old grocery go getter, my 1987 chevy celebrity wagon. I had that for about 7 months before dad traded it in for the jeep.

Here you can see my Camaro parked in the garage. I also have a cardomain page for that so check it out if you want.

Here is the truck parked under a tree at me and my fathers favorite place to fish. Star Lake Minnesota. When I was still in school, me and my father would rent a cabbin for a week and drive up there and bring along his boat. We spent the whole week waking up at 5 in the morning and fishing till the sun went down. I cherish those memories. Thank you dad.
